Chinese UN Peacekeeping Contingent Arrives in Juba, South Sudan, Feb 2015

'Earlier today, 144 Chinese peacekeepers arrived in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) bringing their numbers to 180 of a total of 700 infantry battalion troops, who will be based out of UN House in Juba. The Peacekeepers will be engaged primarily in the protection of civilians, carry out patrols in and around Juba, and the escorting of humanitarian relief supplies.'
