Russian Navy's Amphibious Assault Ship Vladivostok Sits in St. Nazaire, France, June 2014
The Vladivostok is an amphibious assault ship of the French Mistral class currently under construction for the Russian Navy. The ship is a helicopter carrier and was due for delivery to Russia for October, 2014.
In September 3, 2014, France has said conditions are "not right" for delivery of the first of two Mistral navy assault ships to Russia.
