Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMUs) En Route to Tuz Khurmatu; Salahaddin, Iraq, Nov 2015

Militiamen of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq (a Shia militia within Iraq's PMUs) mobilize and head towards Tuz Khurmatu, in Salahaddin Governorate.

Tuz Khurmatu is an ethnically diverse town in a disputed region between the Kurdish administered north and southern regions under the Iraqi central government. The disputed area and town in particular has seen intermittent clashes between PMUs and the Kurdish Peshmerga since the the former and latter pushed ISIS out of the area in Nov 2014.
